CBP) <br />• Geospatial database use, design, development, and management training <br />Exercise Activity Examples <br />Law enforcement terrorism prevention protection- oriented funds may be used to des <br />develop, conduct, and evaluate terrorism prevention - related exercises, including the <br />following: <br />• Exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of information sharing plans, policies, <br />procedures, and protocols <br />• Exercises to evaluate facility and /or vessel security protection <br />• Exercises to evaluate area maritime security protection <br />• Exercises to evaluate threat recognition capabilities <br />• Exercises to evaluate cyber security capabilities <br />• Exercises to evaluate agricultural /food security capabilities <br />• Exercises to evaluate prevention readiness and techniques <br />• "Red Team" (force on force) exercises <br />• Interoperable communications exercises <br />• Critical infrastructure vulnerability, protection, and /or attack exercises <br />Where practical, these exercises should involve the public sector, non - governmental <br />partners, trained citizen volunteers, and the general public. State and local <br />governments should work with their Citizen Corps Councils to include volunteers from <br />programs such as Volunteers in Police Service, Neighborhood Watch, and the general <br />public, including people with disabilities. <br />States and Urban Areas are eligible for technical assistance for the design, <br />development, conduct, and evaluation of terrorism prevention- focused exercises. This <br />assistance, largely administered by the FEMA National Exercise Division/ Terrorism <br />Prevention Exercise Program TPEP), must be applied for and utilized in coordination <br />with the SAA.
