The details <br />the points of contact-, and the individual <br />Order Template can be found at <br />Requirements Overview <br />The Operations Orders must: <br />(1) Be created and submitted in Microsoft Word ( *.doc) <br />(2) Not exceed 6 pages in length with the emphasis on the Executive Summary, <br />Mission, and Budget <br />(3) Use the following file naming convention when submitting required documents as <br />part of the FY 2011 OPSG application: "FY 2011 OPSG < State Abbreviation> - <br /><Local Unit of Government Name >" <br />Due to the competitive nature of this program, separate attachments will neither be <br />accepted nor reviewed. <br />Budget Requirements Overview <br />In an effort to streamline the application process, each applicant is required to submit an <br />annual budget addressing OPSG related costs and expenses as part of the Operations <br />Order. This budget should be detailed and should serve to: <br />(1) Explain how the costs were estimated <br />(2) Justify the need for the costs incurred <br />For clarification purposes, the Operations Order may include tables describing cost and <br />expense elements (e.g., equipment, fuel, vehicle maintenance costs). <br />Executive Summary Overview <br />Details to include in the Operations Order Executive Summary: <br />(1) Identify the organization name, point of contact, committees, and other structures <br />accountable for implementing OPSG in your jurisdiction. Typically, this will be a <br />program lead or manager overseeing operations and individuals assigned to that <br />agency <br />(2) Briefly describe how Federal, State, local, and Tribal law enforcement agencies <br />will work together to establish and enhance coordination and collaboration on <br />border security issues <br />M9 <br />
