PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Mill <br />• Received a call on the Lyon project public art at MacArthur & Main Street <br />reporting that the art is causing some impairment to drivers when the sun hits it. <br />Mr. Fregoso noted staff has discussed issue with Lyon and noted that it is <br />currently wrapped in plastic. Lyon has agreed to work with the artist to look at <br />different finishes on the piece to make sure there is no glare once it is <br />unwrapped. <br />• Requested that staff investigate sign at Native Son Alehouse. <br />• Noted concern that the Little Sparrow Cafe is now only open for dinner. <br />Commissioner Bacerra <br />• Noted he attended the Plaza Primavera event in Downtown Santa Ana this past <br />weekend adding it was great to see the Santa Ana Business Council and the <br />city's Recreation, Parks & Community Services Agency put on a great event. <br />• Reported that the Little Sparrow Cafe was voted the best restaurant in Orange <br />County by the Orange Coast Magazine. <br />4.
