2. Weekly Cleaning Schedule <br />a) Spray and Buffing of Hard Floors -Clean and restore a uniform glass and <br />protective finish to resilient tile or terrazzo floors that are finished with a floor <br />finish. All chairs, trash receptacles, etc., shall be tilted or moved where <br />necessary to spray buff underneath. The entire floor shall have a uniform <br />coating of floor finish. All spray buff solution shall be removed from <br />baseboards, furniture, trash receptacles, etc. <br />b) Dusting of Ceiling, Atrium Ledges, Lunchroom Drywall Ledges and HVAC Wall <br />Vents -Clean all HAVAC vents and area immediately surround them. Dust all <br />atrium ledges at the glass /wood railing areas and at the atrium stairs. Dust <br />lunchroom drywall edges. Care shall be taken not to spread dust into the air. <br />c) High Dusting- Remove dust, cobwebs, oily film, etc., from all fixtures and <br />surfaces above 11 feet from the floor surface. This would include lights, grills, <br />light fixtures, pipes, sprinkler systems, cables, ledges, walls, atrium wood and <br />ledges, ceilings, vents, etc. Care shall be taken not to spread dust into the air. <br />d) Inspect shower curtains. If curtains are worn, the Contractor shall replace <br />them at his own expense with a shower curtain product acceptable to the <br />City's Representative. <br />e) Clean light fixtures and protective coverings inside and out using approved <br />germicidal cleanser. <br />3. Monthly Cleaning Schedule <br />a) Carpeted Floors -Pile lift carpet floors in all areas. <br />b) Carpeted Floors — Bi- Monthly* - Spin bonnet all carpeted floors every two (2) <br />months. *(calculate to monthly cost for bidding purposes). January; March; <br />May; July; September and November. <br />c) Tile Floors -Spray buff all tile floors. Clean and resurface floor surfaces using <br />approved products per the manufacturer's specifications. <br />d) Use pumice stone or other product/tool to remove mineral buildup from around <br />fixtures in the restroom. <br />e) Pressure -wash all exterior wall and pavement surfaces to remove dirt, gum, <br />dust, debris, stains, etc. to within 50' of the building. <br />4.
