The Active <br />Transportation Coordinator position will be assigned to the Public Works Agency and will be <br />responsible for leading the planning, development, monitoring, tracking, and implementation of the <br />City's Active Transportation Program in order to provide safe, convenient access for bicyclists, <br />pedestrians, and users of all ages and abilities. The recruitment for this position will commence <br />upon Council's approval of this recommended action. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action in Fiscal Year 2013 -14. <br />Edward S.
