,tW W&*1wiE IBM 1pK <br />0, !I iNgAT WOE US <br />qjN, efl: llMUMINC xltiR6 <br />dERK 6 2014 <br />VATE; <br />Crl�rplaY <a. �;4n <br />AGREEMENT FOR PROVISION OF <br />APPRAISAL CONSULTANT SERVICES <br />'PHIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this I't day of January, 2014 by and <br />between Goldcoast Appraisals, Inc., a California corporation (hereinafter "Consultant ") <br />and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and <br />existing under the Constitution and laws of the State of California (hereinafter "City "). <br />RECITALS <br />A. The City issued Request for Qualifications (RFQ 13 -053) on September 12, <br />2013, in order to retain a consultant having special skill and knowledge in the <br />field of professional real estate appraisal services. <br />B. Consultant represents that Consultant is able and willing to provide such <br />services to the City. <br />C. In undertaking the performance of this Agreement, Consultant represents that it <br />is knowledgeable in its field and that any services performed by Consultant <br />under this Agreement will be performed in compliance with such standards as <br />may reasonably be expected from a professional consulting firm in the field. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and <br />subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows: <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide real estate appraisal consulting services, including <br />preparation of studies and technical reports and other necessary services, on an on -call <br />basis, at the written direction of the Executive Director of the Community Development <br />Agency, or his /her designee, in compliance with the Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein as Exhibit A. The Consultant will provide an experienced, educated <br />and professional team,, whose Project Manager and stab" shall be responsive and maintain <br />excellent working relationships with City staff. The Consultant shall be committed to <br />provide adequate staffing levels at all times in order to adhere to established schedules. <br />Consultant acknowledges and agrees to all of the terms and conditions of each of the <br />exhibits attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />2. REPRESENTATIVES <br />For purposes of implementing this Agreement, the representative of City shall be <br />the Executive Director of the Community Development Agency, or his/her designee, and <br />the representative of the Consultant shall be the Program Manager or 'his /her designated <br />representative. Except as may be otherwise stated herein, such representatives shall have <br />the authority to act on behalf of their respective parties in carrying out the terms of this <br />Agreement. <br />N- 2014 -065 <br />
