•p <br />Gwrr�.w'n <br />AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN <br />THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br />AND <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />FOR THE PROVISION OF <br />GANG VIOLENCE SUPPRESSION OVERTIME SERVICES <br />N- 2014 -066 <br />THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this I st day of May, 2014, which date is <br />enumerated for purposes of reference only, is by and between the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a <br />political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY" and the <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, hereinafter referred to as "CITY ". This Agreement shall be administered <br />by the County of Orange Chief Probation Officer, hereinafter referred to as "ADMINISTRATOR ". <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, as pat of a multi jurisdictional task force known as "Tri- Agency Resource <br />Gang Enforcement Team" (TARGET), COi1NTY employs a Deputy Probation Officer, hereinafter <br />designated as "TARGET DPO ", to provide gang violence suppression (GVS) services, on a full - <br />time basis, for a target population consisting of adults and minors on probation, residing within <br />CITY'S geographical limits; <br />WHEREAS, CITY desires to contract with COUNTY for the provision of GVS overtime <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, COUNTY is willing and capable of providing such services through the <br />employment of its assigned TARGET DPO; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />Page 1 of 14 <br />
