City of Santa Ana, PWA Agreement Exhibit A <br />RFP — ON -CALL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR WATER AND SEWER MAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />Category 3 — Structural Engineering (As- needed) <br />If required, services may include, but are not limited to, the following types of projects as related <br />to the water and sewer facilities: <br />1. Retaining walls <br />2. Footings <br />3. Building pads <br />4. Seismic retrofits and rehabilitation <br />5. Underground Utility Vaults <br />6. Inspections <br />7. Reservoir inspections <br />Category 4 — Surveying (As- needed) <br />If required, services may Include, but are not limited to, the following types of projects as related <br />to the water and sewer facilities: <br />1. Topographic (including aerial and hydrographic) <br />2. Boundary surveying <br />3. Horizontal and vertical control establishment <br />4. Monitoring surveys <br />Category 6 — Hydraulic Analysis (As- needed) <br />If required, services may include hydraulic studies, analysis, modeling, report writing and peer <br />review. These services shall consist of the following tasks: <br />1. Compile and Review Previous Models and Existing Model - Related Information. <br />2. For sewer system modeling, conduct a flow monitoring program. <br />3. Calibrate all Models. <br />4. Prepare Technical Memorandums, <br />5. Conduct Hydraulic Analyses. <br />6. Conduct Transient Analyses. <br />Category 6 — Geotechnical Engineering (As- needed) <br />If required, services may include, but are not limited to the following types of studies and <br />documents: <br />1. Retaining Walls <br />2. Trench backfill <br />3. Site inspections and monitoring <br />4. Subsurface investigations <br />5. Feasibility studies <br />6. Peer review <br />Category 7 — Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation & Controls (As- needed) <br />If required, services may include system design for electrical power, instrumentation, control <br />15 <br />25C -24 <br />
