Contract Award for Local Streets Resurfacing <br />Using Rubberized Emulsion Aggregate Slurry <br />June 17, 2014 <br />Page 2 <br />Bid procedures have been followed as established by the City's Municipal Code and in adherence <br />to the Public Contracts Code. Their bid amount of $1,091,344 compares favorably to the Engineer's Estimate of <br />$1,100,000. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the recommended actions are exempt <br />from further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. 2014 -51 was filed for this <br />project. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The estimated total delivery cost of this project is $1,300,000, which includes construction <br />administration, inspection, testing, survey and contingencies (Exhibit 1).
