Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12 -month contract period. <br />What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. Only the <br />viewable space will print. <br />Laura's House extimates that during 2013 -2014 contract year that a minimum of 8-12% of the clients served in <br />our Emergency Shelter will be residents of Santa Ana. Laura's House will provide a comprehensive 30 -45 day <br />residential shelter program utilizing ESG Funds ( 1.8% of total program budget) towards serving twenty eight <br />battered women and children who are residents of Santa Ana and are homeless due to domestic violence. The <br />emergency shelter program includes food and clothing; individual counseling; therapeutic and education <br />groups; life- skills and parenting classes; legal assistance; case management and social advocacy with linkage to <br />additional resources necessary for the client to transition from shelter living to independence and self - <br />sufficiency. <br />Schedule of Performance <br />Estimate the number of unduplicated Santa Ana residents to be served by the funded program during the 12 -month <br />contract period per quarter. (Enter number of new Santa Ana clients served each quarter.
