The Excel Paving Company <br />bid amount of $3,179,058 is 2.5% over the Engineer's estimate of $3,100,000. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. 2014-41 has been filed for the Grand Avenue <br />Storm Drain project, while a Final Environmental Impact Report (State Clearinghouse <br />#1998051068) was previously prepared in October 2002 for the Grand Avenue Widening project <br />and adopted by City Council on November 18, 2002 under Resolution No. 2002-096. <br />Additionally, in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, an Environmental <br />Assessment with Finding of No Significant Impact was previously prepared in August 2011 for the <br />Grand Avenue Widening project and approved by the California Department of Transportation on <br />September 1, 2011. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The estimated total delivery cost of this project is $3,933,432.39, which includes construction <br />administration, inspection, testing, survey and contingencies (Exhibit 1). Funds for the Grand <br />Avenue Widening project are available in the following accounts: Gas Tax Fund (Account <br />05917663-66220), Measure M Fund (Accounts 03217660-66220 and 03217662-66220). Funds <br />for the Grand Avenue Storm Drain project are available in the Drainage Assessment Fee Fund <br />(Accounts 22417660-66220, 22517660-66220, and 22617660-66220). <br />
