<br />THIS DEED made the 1st day of June 1969, by and between the
<br />UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, acting by and through the ADMINISTRATOR OF
<br />GENERAL SERVICES, under and pursuant to the powers and authority con -
<br />tained in the provisions of the Federal Property and Administrative
<br />Services Act of 1949 (63 Stat. 377), the Surplus Property Act of 1944
<br />(58 Stat. 765), as amended, more particularly by Public Law 616, 80th
<br />Congress, approved June 10, 1948, and the regulations and orders issued
<br />pursuant thereto, Party of the First Part, and the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a
<br />municipal corporation under the laws of the State of California, Party
<br />of the Second Part,
<br />WITNESSETH:
<br />The said Party of the First Part, for and in consideration of
<br />the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
<br />and the conditions, covenants and restrictions herein set forth, and in
<br />further consideration of the continuous use and maintenance of the
<br />premises by the Party of the Second Part as and for a public park for
<br />public recreational purposes, and other good and valuable consideration,
<br />has remised, released and forever quitclaimed, and by these presents
<br />does remise, release and forever quitclaim, unto the Party of the Second
<br />Part, and to its successors and assigns, that real property situate in
<br />the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described
<br />as follows:
<br />Those portions of Section 22, Township 5 South, Range 10 West,
<br />in the Rancho Las Bolsas, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown
<br />on a map recorded in book 51, page 12 of Miscellaneous Maps,
<br />records of Orange County, California, and of Lots 1 and 4 of
<br />Tract No. 1024, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map
<br />recorded in book 33, page 33 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
<br />of Orange County, California, described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the Easterly line
<br />of the river sight -of -way of the Newbert Protection District
<br />with the North line of the Southeast quarter (SEk) of the
<br />Northwest quarter (NWk) of Section 22, Township 5 South,
<br />Range 10 West, S.B.B.&M.; thence along said North line North
<br />880 50' East 1368.951 feet to a point; thence South 10 10'
<br />East 1154 feet to a.point; thence South 530 39' 02" West
<br />394.426 feet to a point; thence South 000 59' 00" East 280.00
<br />feet to a point; thence North 890 20' West along the South
<br />line of Lot 4 and its Westerly extension of Tract 1024 as shown
<br />on a map thereof recorded in Book 33 at Page 33, Miscellaneous
<br />Maps, Records of Orange County, California, a distance of
<br />1600.00 feet to a point in the said Easterly line of the
<br />river right -of -way of the Newbert Protection District, said
<br />Easterly line being on the are of a curve concave Northwest-
<br />erly having a radius of 23,093.33 feet, the radial to said
<br />curve at said point bears South 700 04' 58" East; thence
<br />Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 40
<br />13' 30" an are distance of 1,702.906 feet to the point of be-
<br />ginning.
