6/18/14 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2014- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />APPROVING THE ADDENDUM TO THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />STATEMENT / ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT N0, 89 -01 FOR THE <br />BRISTOL STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND WIDENING PROJECT <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares as follows: <br />A. On November 19, 1990, the City Council approved the Final Environmental <br />Impact Statement / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01) for the <br />improvements and widening of a 3.9 -mile segment of Bristol Street from <br />Warner Avenue to Memory Lane, hereinafter referred to as the "Project ". <br />B. City Council has been asked to authorize the commencement of Phase IIIB <br />of the Project, improving and widening Bristol Street from Washington <br />Avenue to 17th Street. Phase IIIB includes minor design modifications to the <br />Project approved in EIS 89 -01. <br />C. On July 1, 2014, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana considered the <br />request for approval of the Addendum to the Final Environmental Impact <br />Study / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01). <br />Section 2. The City Council previously approved and adopted Final <br />Environmental Impact Study / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01). In accordance <br />with the California Environmental Quality Act, an Addendum to EIS 89 -01 was prepared <br />for Phase IIIB of the Bristol Street Improvements and Widening Project. Based upon <br />the studies, the City Council determines that there are no new significant impacts or any <br />increases in the severity of the impacts previously identified in the original FEIS /EIR. <br />The City Council hereby approves the Addendum to EIS 89 -01. <br />Section 3. These decisions are based upon the Request for Council Action <br />dated May 6, 2014, and exhibits attached thereto; the public comments; and, the Final <br />Environmental Impact Study / Environmental Impact Report (EIS 89 -01), all of which <br />are incorporated herein by this reference. <br />Section 4. This decision rendered by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />is final and is subject to judicial review pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure <br />Resolution No, 2014 - <br />QF9 Page 1 of 2 <br />
