PWA and Other Scanning Requirements <br />Licensee wishes to engage the scanning services of Accuflex to scan Public Works Agency <br />(PWA) and other Licensee department paper records into Licensee's Laserfiche system. In <br />addition to letter and legal size documents, PWA works with and stores engineering drawings up <br />to E size. <br />A. Scan Settings. <br />i. Drawings. <br />The quality of drawing images scanned is very important because PWA is planning to <br />destroy the originals. The images will be relied upon for engineering accuracy. Everything <br />legible in the original document should also be legible in the image. In addition to quality, <br />performance and storage capacity are considerations as well but not as important as quality. <br />Below is the preferred resolution and bit -depth settings for PWA drawings.
