The Planning <br />Commission made no changes to the recommended conditions of approval outlined in the <br />attached staff report (Exhibit A). <br />DISCUSSION <br />Mariscos Los Corales Restaurant currently operates within a single- tenant building that is located <br />at the northeast corner of Westminster Avenue and Sydney Street. The site is 0.31 acres in size, <br />is square shaped and contains a 1,216 square foot building that was constructed in 1959 under the <br />County's Jurisdiction. The approval of the CUP would allow for the sale and service of beer, wine <br />and distilled spirits in conjunction with food sales. Full sized site plans are available for public <br />viewing in the Clerk of the Council Office. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal No. 3 Economic Development, <br />Objective No. 2 (create new opportunities for businessfjob growth and encourage private <br />development through new General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies). <br />31A-1 <br />
