c) Strive to identify and achieve common interests to enhance public <br />safety and due process. <br />d) Maintain individual privacy rights, preserve protections agencies <br />have for public records and promote appropriate access controls <br />and security. <br />e) Support the development of effective criminal justice policy in <br />keeping with the objectives of the Orange County Integrated Law & <br />Justice Strategic Plan ( "Strategic Plan ") adopted by the Orange <br />County Chiefs & Sheriff's Association in April 2001, and any <br />amendments to that plan as approved by a majority vote of the <br />Board. <br />f) Strive for the compatibility of automated systems and processes <br />among the various components of the Orange County Criminal <br />Justice System. <br />g) Acknowledge that each Member Agency is responsible for internal <br />agency security for their records, technical support, etc. <br />h) Recognize that in order to achieve overall success, resources <br />(personnel, software, hardware, etc.), will be shared willingly and in <br />some cases unequally by the Member Agencies, as long as that <br />cooperation does not adversely impact the mission of the sharing <br />member. <br />i) Allow the Member Agencies to work together to implement the <br />adopted Strategic Plan (and subsequent amendments to that <br />plan), for an Integrated Law & Justice System through the <br />information sharing which will result from that collaborative effort, <br />1.05 Member Agencies are not required to seek approval from the <br />ILJAOC to purchase, install, or modify their own (non - ILJAOC owned) equipment, <br />services, or work performed in conjunction with any legislative mandate /authority <br />granted to or required of Member Agencies in order to carry out their respective <br />responsibilities. Furthermore, the ILJAOC has no power or authority to control, <br />interfere with, or inhibit Member Agencies from conducting their own internal <br />business and/or providing their own (non - ILJAOC owned) resources or services to <br />Ell <br />25F -6 <br />
