ARTICLE XVI <br />16.0 STRIKES AND WORK STOPPAGES <br />16.1 Prohibited Conduct. <br />A. SAMA, its officers, agents, representatives, and members agree that <br />during the term of this Agreement, they will not cause or condone any <br />unlawful strike, walkout, slowdown, sickout, or any other unlawful job <br />action by withholding or refusing to work. <br />B. According to City Charter Section 1014, any employee who participates in <br />any conduct prohibited in Subsection A above shall be subject to <br />suspension, demotion or dismissal by the Appointing Authority. <br />16.2 SAMA Responsibility. Whenever SAMA, its officers, agents, representatives, or <br />members engage in any of the conduct prohibited in Subsection 14.1(A) above of <br />this Article, SAMA will immediately instruct any persons engaging in such <br />conduct that their conduct is violating this Agreement and unlawful, and they <br />must immediately cease engaging in the conduct prohibited in said Subsection <br />14.1(A) above, and return to work. <br />25M -48 <br />
