Ms. Haluza announced the Environmental Assessment/Draft Environmental Impact <br />Report (EA/DEIR) for the Fixed Guideway (Streetcar) Project was released for public <br />review and is currently in the 45 -day review comment period, noted the OCTA Board <br />has been taking action on the project and there will be three public meetings for <br />public comment with the first on Saturday, June 14 at Garfield Community Center <br />from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The other meetings are listed on the Transit Vision website. <br />5. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Bacerra: <br />• Congratulated staff on the awards adding he had the opportunity to witness the <br />presentation of the OCAPA award. <br />Commissioner Gartner: <br />• Congratulated staff on the awards. <br />Commissioner Yrarrazaval: <br />• Congratulated staff on the awards. <br />Vice Chair Mill: <br />• Congratulated staff and members of the Commission who took part seeing The <br />Triada project to fruition adding this is what a quality affordable housing project <br />looks like. <br />• Inquired on who provides water for the city. Mr. Fregoso noted 60% comes from <br />city wells and 40% from the Metropolitan Water District. <br />• Inquired if the group that uses the parking lot for the Farmers Market pay for the <br />use of the lot.
