Agrc�m�nt 1��hibt A <br />City of Santa Ana, PWA <br />RFP — ON -CALL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR WATER AND SEWER MAIN <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />12, Prepare CEQA Documentation (Assume a Negative Declaration) <br />a. Prepare necessary documentation as required by the applicable portions of <br />CEQA for environmental clearance, <br />b. Coordinate with City Staff including the Planning and Building Agency to insure <br />accuracy of documentation. <br />c. Apply for and file all necessary documentation on the City's behalf to the <br />appropriate agencies. <br />TASK NO.2- FINALIZE DESIGN <br />1, The construction plan set will contain the following drawings: <br />• Title Sheet <br />• Plan Sheets <br />2. Prepare any necessary supplemental provisions to the City's standard specifications, <br />general provisions and bid documents for each project. Provide a digital copy of <br />standard drawings not issued by the City of Santa Ana or APWA for inclusion on the <br />specifications. <br />3. Prepare quantity and cost estimate for each design based on the final plans and <br />specifications, Consultant shall contact manufacturers andlor contractors to verify the <br />engineer's estimate prior to submitting to the City, <br />4. Submit 90 %completion level plan and a 100 % completion level plans and specifications <br />to the City for review. Each submittal will consist of three (3) sets of full -size prints. Meet <br />with City staff to review plan check and comments and obtain input. <br />5. Upon final acceptance of the plans and specifications, provide "Bid- Ready" construction <br />drawings on disk and full size mylar. <br />6. Conduct and attend meetings and review sessions as required during the design phase <br />to keep the City staff informed of the project status. <br />7. Prepare CADD As -Built drawings (submit in CADD & ESRI arcGIS format and on one (1) <br />set of bond) from field set of As -Built plans. <br />8. All original plan sheets, calculations, and reports shall be signed and stamped by the <br />Consultant's licensed professional engineer in responsible- charge of the project. These <br />signed originals will then become the property of the City. <br />TASKNO.3- BID PHASE SERVICES (AS NEEDED) (Assume 4 Requests for Information) <br />1. Respond to requests for clarification from prospective bidders during the bid period. <br />2. Issue addenda to the bid package as necessary. <br />TASK NO.4- CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SUPPORT (AS NEEDED) (Assume 20 <br />Submittals for Review) <br />1. Attend the Pre & Post - Construction (Meeting. <br />2. Respond to request for information from the Construction Engineer /Inspector, as <br />required. <br />3. Provide analysis of changed conditions, development of corrective action, review of shop <br />drawings and "peer review" of other submittals at the discretion of City Staff. <br />4.
