2. Land Evaluation -The Storie Index Rating Score <br />Step 1. <br />From the appropriate soil survey or other sources of information identified in <br />Appendix C, determine the Storie Index Rating (the Storie Index Rating is already <br />based upon a 100 point scale) for each mapping unit and enter these values in <br />Column G of the Land Evaluation Worksheet (Table 1A.). <br />Step 2. <br />Multiply the proportion of each soil mapping unit found within the project (Column <br />C) by the Storie Index Rating (Column G), and enter these scores in Column H. <br />Step 3. <br />Sum the Stone Index Rating scores in Column H to obtain a single Storie Index <br />Rating score for the project.
