REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: <br />SEPTEMBER 16, 2014 <br />TITLE: <br />REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE PREPARATION OF A COMMUNITY <br />ENGAGEMENT PLAN <br />CITY MAN ER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL USE ONLY: <br />5T••:• 17 <br />❑ As Recommended <br />❑ <br />As Amended <br />❑ <br />Ordinance on tat Reading <br />❑ <br />Ordinance on 2n0 Reading <br />❑ <br />Implementing Resolution <br />❑ <br />Set Public Hearing For <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Authorize the Planning and Building Agency to send a Request for Qualifications to qualified <br />consulting firms to provide technical services to support the City in the preparation of a <br />Community Engagement Plan. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Staff is requesting authorization to distribute a Request for Qualifications (Exhibit 1) for technical <br />services to assist City staff with the preparation of a Community Engagement Plan in furtherance <br />of the implementation of the Santa Ana Strategic Plan (Goal 5, Strategy 1a).
