• Mercy House staffed the Winter Armory Shelter program, provided night -time shelter, <br />meals, and referral services to individuals living on streets, parks, cars, etc. <br />• Orange County Health Care Agency - operated a proactive outreach program to assist <br />homeless persons with HIV /AIDS living on the streets. A portion of this program was funded <br />with HOPWA. <br />• HOPWA Tenant Based Rental Assistance — Funding to assist individuals living with HIV /AIDS <br />maintain independent living situations. <br />Santa Ana did not apply for Continuum of Care Super NOFA funds in 2013. No requests for <br />Certification of Consistency with the City's Consolidated Plan were received by the City from NOFA <br />applicants. The City of Santa Ana did participated in the development of the regional Continuum of <br />Care strategy by providing valuable mainstream fund information and assigning key staff to <br />participate in the Orange County Continuum of Care Community Forum.
