No presentation provided. <br />Mayor Pulido opened the public hearing. The following speakers addressed the <br />City Council: <br />• Angelika Kotike, request cul de sac in the area to curb school traffic to <br />school. <br />• Jeff Melching, spoke on behalf of the applicant; supports staff <br />recommendations; no new evidence and available to answer question. <br />• Mike Gibbons, represents the applicants and available to answer questions. <br />• Nick Spain, staff report attempts to correct prima facie mistakes; calls into <br />question the entire approval; repair damage; Old Orchard Conservancy has <br />offered to purchase property in the past, but offer not accepted. <br />• Deborah Rosenthal, representing the Old Orchard Conservancy; submitted <br />an objection letter for the record. <br />• Jeannie Gillett, spoke in opposition to staff recommendation; opined that <br />historic and cultural site being destroyed. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA 22 SEPTEMBER 2, 2014 <br />1 OA -22 <br />
