Staff <br />has received and incorporated feedback and recommendations on the content and form of the RFQ <br />from a number of sources including the Development and Transportation Committee, ULI Technical <br />Assistance Panel, Dr. Richard Willson from Cal Poly Pomona, Kosmont Companies and the Planning <br />Division's urban design consultant. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal #3 Economic Development, Objective <br />#5 (Leverage private investment that results in tax base expansion and job creation citywide), <br />Strategy A (Identify and market underutilized properties (city and non -city owned) for new <br />development that will create new jobs and expand the City's tax base (e.g. YMCA, 3`d and Broadway <br />parking structure, Saddleback Inn site). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Kalu PPS' <br />Kareen n Haluza <br />Interim Executive Directo <br />Planning and Building Agency <br />MF: rb MF /ReportsRFCA's — 30 and Broadway RFQ Release RFCA <br />Exhibit: 1.
