EXHIBIT F: Informational Brochure - Non Residential <br />INTRODUCTION <br />This booklet describes the relocation payments and other relocation assistance which the City of <br />Santa Ana ( "City ") provides to businesses and non -profit organizations which may be required to <br />move from real property, or move personal property from real property as a result of the Bristol <br />Street Widening Project ( "Project "). <br />If you are notified that you will be displaced, the City's relocation advisor, Paragon Partners Ltd. <br />( "Paragon "), will contact you personally. The advisor will answer your specific questions and <br />provide additional information you may need. It is important that you do not move before you learn <br />what you must do to receive the relocation payments and other assistance to which you are entitled. <br />This booklet may not answer all of your questions. If you have more questions about your <br />relocation, contact your relocation advisor. Ask questions before you move. Afterwards, it may be <br />too late. <br />SUMMARY OF RELOCATION ASSISTANCE <br />As an eligible displaced person, you will be offered the following advisory and financial assistance <br />by Paragon on behalf of the City: <br />Advisory Services includes referrals to suitable replacement locations, preparation of claim forms <br />for relocation payments, and other assistance to minimize the impact of the move. <br />Payment for Moving and Reestablishment Expenses Such payments fall into two categories: <br />Payment for your Actual Reasonable Moving and Related Expenses and a payment for <br />Reestablishment Expenses; or <br />A Fixed "In Lieu" Payment as an alternative to the payments for moving and <br />reestablishment expenses <br />GENERAL QUESTIONS <br />How Will I know if I am Eligible for Relocation Assistance? <br />You should receive a written notice explaining your eligibility for relocation assistance. You should <br />not move before receiving that notice. If you do, you may not receive relocation assistance. <br />How Will the City Know How Much Help I Need? <br />You will be contacted and personally interviewed by your relocation advisor to determine your <br />relocation needs and preferences for a replacement location and other services. The relocation <br />advisor will ask about such matters as your space requirements. It is to your advantage to provide <br />the information so that the Paragon can assist you in moving with a minimum of hardship.
