Adopt a resolution certifying Final Environmental Impact Report No. 2014 -01, to approve the <br />mitigation monitoring program, findings of fact, and statement of overriding considerations for the <br />Harbor Mixed Use Transit Corridor Specific Plan. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 2014 -02. <br />3. Adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 2014 -01. <br />4. Adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 2014 -01. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Request of the Applicant <br />The City of Santa Ana is requesting several actions to enact the new Harbor Mixed Use Transit <br />Corridor Specific Plan. Specifically, the City is requesting certification of an Environmental Impact <br />Report, amendments to the General Plan Land Use Element and Urban Design Element to change <br />land use and urban form designations, and amendments to the Santa Ana Municipal Code (S.A.M.C.) <br />to approve new design and development standards for the Harbor Corridor Mixed Use Specific Plan <br />area. In addition, an amendment application is proposed to remove 120 acres from the existing <br />Harbor Specific Plan boundaries and retain the underlying zoning designation for these properties of <br />open space and residential land uses. <br />EXHIBITA <br />75B -3 <br />
