Lrm.ates needing further treatment will be referred to the mental health <br />staff for evaluation and treatment, If the innate is currently receiving, ov <br />has received treatment from an outside agency, the agency will be, <br />contacted and the necessary mental health information w ll be requested, <br />Inmates identified as suicidal will immediately be evaluated and. treated, <br />as needed (please see section below entitled Emergency crisis, <br />intervention and suicide prevention services). <br />Inmates 'pan make a routine request for nonwcmergency mental health <br />services by use of the sick call request. process ( , Detention <br />Officers can also refer inmates for evaluation and assistance.
