Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to submit applications for funding consideration <br />under the Measure M2 Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program. <br />2. Direct staff to amend the Seven -Year Capital Improvement Program to incorporate the <br />Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program projects list. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has issued a call for projects under the <br />Measure M2 Comprehensive Transportation Funding Program (CTFP) for FY 2015/16 through FY <br />2017/18. Funding in the amount of $35 million will be awarded on a countywide competitive basis <br />in the Regional Capacity and Traffic Signal Synchronization programs. Adoption of the <br />recommended resolution and amending the Seven -Year Capital Improvement Program is a <br />qualifying requirement to submit the grant applications. <br />The City will be submitting six applications totaling $11,986,545 in grant fund requests. Existing <br />and future local funding sources will be used to provide the required matching funds for the <br />recommended projects.
