Background <br />September 2013 <br />City Council adopts Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing Ordinance <br />July 15, 2014 <br />Orange County Board of Supervisors approve purchase and sale agreement <br />for property at 1217 E. Normandy Place for an emergency shelter. <br />September 30, 2014 <br />In response to concerns expressed by the community, staff made a <br />presentation on options to the Development and Transportation <br />Committee. <br />October 21, 2014 <br />City Council directs staff to prepare a Resolution of Interagency <br />Cooperation and an emergency ordinance for a 45 -day moratorium on the <br />City's Emergency Shelter Ordinance. <br />November 18, 2014 <br />Orange County Board of Supervisors do not approve the final purchase of <br />the property at 1217 E. Normandy Place. <br />
