The first appearance of the address in the city directories occurred in 1924, when Roy C. <br />Kennedy, a salesman, resided at 2306 North Spurgeon. Apparently, the house changed occupants several times over the <br />next decade, with J. P. Williams listed in 1925, Dexter R.
