Adjustments to the allocated cost of service take place in Column 2. For the <br />Water Enterprise, the cost of public fire protection is allocated to all customers because it is viewed as a <br />general benefit to all and therefore reallocated to the other customer classes based on allocated cost. <br />The last column indicates the approximate adjustment rate levels necessary to recover 100 percent of <br />the allocated costs of service. <br />BLACK & VEATCH I Water Rate Study <br />65B -63 <br />51 <br />
