NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />INITIAL STUDY NUMBER: is 85 -205/ DATE: 12 -1e -85 <br />PROJECT LOCATION /ADDRESS: Eastern /Foothill and San Joaquin <br />Transportation Corridors <br />PROJECT /TITLF DESCRIPTION: Fee program for new developments <br />in the area of influence for the <br />for the subject corridors. <br />PROJECT PROPONENT: City of Santa Ana Public Services Agency <br />(Transportation Department.) <br />REVIEWING DEPARTMENT: Planning <br />In accordance with the City of Santa Ana's "Environmental Rules - 1976 <br />Revision" Implementing the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 <br />(specifically Section 21151 of the Public Resources Code) the Environ- <br />mental Analyst for this Department has prepared an Initial Study on <br />the above described project and hereby finds that the proposed project <br />with included mitigation measures, cannot, or will not, have a significant <br />effect on the environment. <br />Negative Declaration status is therefore granted for this project and. <br />the submittal of an Environmental Impact Report is thereby not necessar <br />The granting of Negative Declaration status is based upon inclusion of <br />the following mitigation measures: <br />(13c) The impact upon existing transportation systems will <br />be beneficial construction of the Eastern /Foothill <br />and San Joaquin Corridors will provide relief of <br />current freeway conditions. <br />(13d) The new corridors will result in new circulation <br />tterns that will relieve current traf <br />congestion in the area of influence. <br />APPROVED BY: _ /y.Yl /,�C �. ��.� �� DATE: <br />Planning Departrrent„ ,),,� <br />COhM[P1ITY C�'VEfl�PMEC7T 6 HOUSING AG[NCY �}'I� <br />8 -84 <br />
