Exhibit A <br />APPENDIX -- <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br />FOR <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES <br />FOR PACIFIC ELECTRIC PARK <br />RFP NO.; 14-036 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Project Understanding <br />The proposed "Pacific Electric Park" will be a new 1.4 acre neighborhood park, as represented in the concept plan <br />included herein as part of Attachment A, and shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following <br />components: <br />• Themed Playground <br />• Themed Restroom Building <br />• Picnic area with Shade Structure <br />• Community Garden <br />• Fruit Tree Grove <br />• Gardening Classroom with seating <br />• Amphitheatre <br />• Security Lighting along walkways <br />• Drought tolerant plant palette <br />• Dry Stream <br />• Automatic irrigation system <br />Decomposed Granite Walkways <br />• Monument signs (2) <br />• Park Operation signs (2) <br />• Site Furnishings (benches, bike racks, trash receptacles, drinking fountain, picnic tables) <br />• Property Line wall <br />• Exercise Course <br />Pre - Design <br />Preliminary design phase shall include Kick -off meeting with City Staff to discuss conceptual design plan, project <br />goals and objectives, potential elements and issues, schedule, review of existing information, and conduction of a <br />site investigation <br />Design Development <br />Design development phase will involve development of plans based upon City- provided conceptual design plan. <br />Deliverables from this phase include, but are not limited to, schematic development of landscape architectural, <br />architectural, civil engineering, and electrical engineering.
