Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with <br />Shift Design (Formerly We Are What We Do) in the amount of $121,949 for <br />implementation of the Memories of Migration Program for the term of December 1, 2014 to <br />September 30, 2017, subject to non - substantive changes approved by the City Manager <br />and City Attorney. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with <br />New Mexico Highland University in the amount of $40,631 for implementation of the <br />Memories of Migration Program for the term of December 1, 2014 to September 30, 2017, <br />subject to non - substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />3. Authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with <br />Queens Public Library in the amount of $25,497 for implementation of the Memories of <br />Migration Program for the term of December 1, 2014 to September 30, 2017, subject to <br />non - substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Santa Ana Public Library was awarded an Institute of Museum and Library Services grant of <br />$495,550 as part of the Institute's National Leadership program, which supports projects that <br />address challenges faced by libraries across the United States and have the potential to create <br />programs and practices that improve library services nationwide. The remaining grant funds not <br />identified for the partner agencies will be used by the Santa Ana Public Library for in -house <br />program costs as previously approved by Council. <br />25A -1 <br />
