Adopt a resolution approving Variance No. 2014 -08 to allow an increase in the front yard fence <br />height at 325 through 403 North Susan Street as conditioned. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Request of the Applicant <br />The John Henry Foundation is requesting approval of several entitlements to allow the expansion of an <br />existing care facility. Specifically, the applicant is requesting approval of a conditional use permit to <br />allow the expansion of an existing care home facility, a variance from Sections 41 -249, 41 -251 and 41- <br />254 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code (SAMC) to reduce the required building setbacks, and from <br />Section 41 -610 to allow a front yard fence that exceeds the maximum height of three feet. <br />EXHIBIT A <br />31A-3 <br />
