Changes of this magnitude do not typically occur quickly. Therefore, the <br />strategic patrol staffing plan will accomplish the addition of 39 patrol officers over a five year <br />period. The City needs to make steady progress towards the goal of adding 39 patrol officers over <br />the next 5 years or response times will not decrease, immediate availability will not increase, and <br />self-initiated and administrative time will not increase. <br /> <br />The implementation of the strategic patrol staffing plan as designed will allow SAPD patrol <br />officers to do the following: <br /> <br />ЊБ <br /> <br /> <br />
