INSURANCE NQT ON FIB, <br />ORK MAY NX PROCEED FIRST AMENDINIENT TO AGREEMFN'T UNDER A- 2092 - 019 -01 <br />�Z <br />CLER K C COUNCIL WORKFORCE INVESTMENT ACT <br />6 DATE, /2 �� �� (H-IB TECHNICAL SKILLS GRANT) <br />THIS FIRST AMENDMENT, made and entered into this day of August, 2014, by and between South <br />Orange County Community College District dba Saddleback Coll ge, Rapid Tech ( "CONTRACTOR") and the City <br />of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws <br />of the State of California ( "City "). <br />RECITALS <br />V <br />A. The City and CONTRACTOR entered into that certain Agreement on February 6, 2012 ( #A- 2012 -019) <br />hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement" for CONTRACTOR to provide software, internship development, a <br />summer engineering institute program, and collaborate with the design and implementation of the Core Engineering <br />Bridge Curriculum for the H -113 Technical Skills Training Grant. <br />K) B. The parties hereto now desire to amend said Agreement and Exhibit E to reduce the CONTRACTOR's <br />funding annount. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and <br />made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do <br />hereby agree as follows: <br />1. Section 11. A, "CITY'S OBLIGATIONS" shall be amended to decrease funds to CONTRACTOR by <br />Eighty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($89,400), so that the total amount of funds to CONTRACTOR <br />trader said Agreement, as amended, shall not exceed Two Hundred Twenty Six Thousand Six Hundred Dollars <br />($226,600). An updated and revised Budget is attached hereto and incorporated herein as the amended Exhibit <br />E.
