BUSINESS CALENDAR COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION DISCLOSURE (REGARDING AGENDIZED PROJECTS): All commissioners disclosed that they had contact with Todd and /or Barry Cottle (regarding agenda item no. 2) as stated on their disclosure forms. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2014 -54 AND VARIANCE NO. 2014 -09 (Applicant: 7- Eleven) Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on December 30, 2014 and notices mailed December 31, 2014. A project overview was provided by Verny Carvajal, Acting Planning Manager. Chair Alderete opened the public hearing. The applicant answered questions and spoke in support of the project. Julie Stroud spoke in support of the project. Matthew Koh, Richard Moser, Patrick McCarty, Avtar Gadria, and Dick Evitt spoke in opposition of the project. Written communication from Julie Vint stated opposition to the project. MOTION: Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2014 -54 as conditioned for after -hours operation and Variance No. 2014 -09 as conditioned for minimum lot size requirements.
