Improving the 3.9 -mile Bristol Street <br />segment from Warner Avenue to Memory Lane has been a long -term priority project that will be <br />constructed in several phases. The project includes improvements of Bristol Street between <br />Washington Avenue and Seventeenth Street (Exhibit 1) and is designated Phase IIIB. <br />Improvements include widening the street from two to three lanes in each direction, raised <br />landscape medians, and bike lanes. <br />On November 28, 2011, the City Council adopted Resolution 2011 -013 authorizing an application <br />for right -of -way and construction funding under the Measure M2 Comprehensive Transportation <br />Funding Program (CTFP) Regional Capacity Program (Project 0) for Phase IIIB. On March 14, <br />2012, the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Board of Directors approved right -of- <br />way funding in the amount of $11,152,575 and construction funding in the amount of $2,631,816 <br />for use in fiscal years 2013 -14 and 2014 -15, respectively. In accordance to the CTFP guidelines, <br />the construction contract for this project must be awarded by June 30, 2015. <br />The Bristol Street Improvements Phase <br />segment.
