Businesses would <br />be paid actual moving costs. Owner - occupied residential <br />units will receive moving costs up to 5500 or actual moving <br />costs and differential payments up to $15,000 maximum. <br />Rental occupants can receive similar moving reimbursement <br />- <br />plus up to $4,000 in rental supplements. <br />4 <br />If we are unhappy with any aspect of the project, do we <br />call the consultant or the City? <br />All inquiries should initially be directed to the City staff. <br />If the question cannot be answered by the City, the City <br />- <br />staff will call the consultant. <br />r <br />What stage of the environmental process is still incomplete? <br />This scoping meeting is only the beginning of the environ- <br />mental process which will include detailed studies conducted <br />by specialists. <br />When will the final environmental impact report/ statement be <br />presented to the community? <br />.. <br />It is estimated that the final study will be ready for public <br />hearing in approximately one and one -half years. <br />If we think of issues later, how do we make changes to the <br />focus of the report after this meeting is over? <br />Please provide any additional comments in writing to the <br />City at the earliest possible opportunity. <br />What is our course of action if the majority of residents op- <br />r <br />pose the project? <br />The opportunity to comment on the project will be available <br />after the completion of the environmental study and prelimi- <br />nary engineering. These studies will be presented to the <br />City Council at a public hearing. After hearing all of the <br />- <br />public testimony the City Council will decide on whether or <br />not to move forward with the project. <br />- <br />Who will make the final decision on the alternative to be se- <br />lected? <br />This decision will be made by the City Council at the public <br />hearing stage. <br />75C -357 <br />
