PROGRAM OBJECTIVE AND GOALS <br />It is mutually understood that the primary objective of the CaiWORKs <br />program is to promote family well -being by enhancing employability of <br />Participants through engagement in preparatory activities and placement in <br />paying jobs, with appropriate support, where they will earn enough, or <br />consistently progress toward enough earnings, to be considered self - sufficient <br />and leave the program within State requirements. <br />1.1 CONTRACTOR shall provide Vocational Training (VTR) and Work <br />Experience (WEX) to Participants to prepare them for unsubsidized employment. <br />1.2 CONTRACTOR shall meet each of the following goals throughout the <br />term of this Agreement: <br />1.2.1 VTR Enrollments: A minimum of eighty percent (80 %) of all <br />Participants who are referred per Subparagraph 2 of this Exhibit A shall be <br />enrolled in VTR activities. <br />1.2.2 WEX Enrollments: A minimum of eighty percent (80 %) of all <br />participants referred per Subparagraph 2 of this Exhibit A to this Agreement <br />shall be enrolled in WEX activities <br />1.2.3 VTR Completion Rate: A minimum of seventy percent (70X) of <br />Participants enrolled in VTR activities will complete the activities per the <br />(WRR0415) Page 1 of 25 (April 7, 2015) <br />25C -42 <br />
