Due to the 20- <br />page limit, full resumes can be provided upon request. <br />Larry Chalupsky, Water AMI SME, BS, Public Administration /Geography -25 years of experience in a broad <br />range of projects and solutions across water and electric utilities, focused on solutions to public utilities. Blends <br />utility operational knowledge and business acumen with an understanding of the marketplace solutions and <br />the ability to develop sound business opportunity assessments and implementation plans. <br />Kevin Cornish, AMI SME, MBA, Marketing and Telecommunications Management; MS, Electrical Engineering <br />(Power Systems); BS, Electrical Engineering /Computer Science -30 years of experience; served as expert <br />consultant on 20+ AMI programs, including reference projects Miami -Dade Water & Sewer Department and <br />South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority. Focus areas include business case and strategy <br />development. Frequent author and presenter on topics related to AMI and Smart Grid, including numerous <br />articles related to water AMI. <br />Andrew Chastain - Howley, Water AMI SME, M.Phil., Advanced Materials; M.Sc., Mining Geology; B.Sc., <br />Geology —More than 20 years of experience. Recently presented "A Business Case for AMI: Savings and <br />Benefits' at two symposia held by the California Urban Water Conservation Council; has worked on four <br />continents and on AMI and metering projects across North America, including reference projects Miami -Dade <br />Water & Sewer Department and South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority. Focus area is water loss <br />management including leak detection solutions, meter asset management and district metering. <br />Deborah Bradbury, Business Process and Organizational Design SME, Prosci Certified —More than 30 years of <br />experience in business process redesign, organizational change management and utility operations. Specializes <br />in the people and process aspects of enabling technology projects and brings professional certification that <br />complements the team in ensuring that the all- important organizational issues are identified. <br />PREVIOUS PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />More than 100 utilities of all sizes have turned to Black & Veatch for help in defining and <br />implementing improvements to meter reading projects impacting millions of households — across <br />water, electric, gas and combination utilities. Black & Veatch is currently supporting more than a <br />dozen utility AMI initiatives across North America. Some projects are just starting, while others are <br />leveraging recently completed AMI deployments to extract additional value and support operational <br />or customer service improvement efforts. <br />Black & Veatch has been exposed to the range of AMI technologies, variations of deployment issues <br />across multiple environments and the complexities of implementing these initiatives within the <br />utility enterprise. We have also completed numerous water planning projects across North America, <br />and have been integral to the analysis and review of metering changes, water loss management and <br />revenue impacts from AMI systems. <br />Table 1 below lists the projects where we have delivered feasibility studies and other services similar <br />to the scope of work outlined in the RFP as well as other aspects of Smart Water and Smart Grid <br />programs. The client names highlighted in bold below are included as reference projects in the <br />Exhibit D, References, section of this document.
