Exhibit A SCOPE OF SERVICES Nancy Alcala Verduzeo A, Provider shall conduct Creative Sculpting & Potters Wheel class for children 3 yrs old and up. R Provider shall teach such or similar classes (1) at the times below at a facility to be designated by the City or (2) on a schedule otherwise agreed upon by the parties for each class session or term, including the location, specific days and hours when classes will be held, and holidays to be observed, in accordance with City's needs, Family Clay Workshop class will consist of I class per day, per week, for 1 hour & 45 minutes, per day Beginning Potters Wheel class will consist of a 4 week session, held I day per week, 2 hours per day ■ Art Class for Kids class will consist of a 4 week session, held I day per week, 1'/z hour per day 0 Adventures with Clay class will consist of a 4 week session, held 1 day per week, I %z hour per day C. Provider shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment, records and personnel. Provider shall be responsible for clean-up of the facilities and materials and shall ensure the safety and effectiveness of instruction. CLASS SIZE A. Family Clay Workshop class must have a minimum of 5 paid students and no more than a maximum of 15. B. Beginning Potters Wheel class must have a minimum of 1 paid student and no more than a maximum of 6. C. Art Class for Kids class must have a minimum of 3 paid students and no more than a maximum of 15. D, Adventures with Clay class must have a minimum of 1 paid student and no more than a maximum of 15. R If the minimum registration has not been reached by the second class, the class may be cancelled by mutual agreement of Provider and City. Provider will be under no obligation to provide services for the cancelled classes, and the City will have no further obligations to pay Provider compensation for the remaining classes that were cancelled in that session. CLASSFEES A. Each participant shall pay class registration fees as established by City. B. Any materials fee shall be established by mutual agreement of City and Provider and shall be payable directly to Provider. C. Only registered participants may participate in class. D, Any refunds to participants will be made in accordance with City policy.
