(KMA) is pleased to submit this proposal to the City of <br /> SAN DIEGO Santa Ana and the Santa Ana Housing Authority (collectively referred to as the "City") <br /> Paul C.Marra request for qualifications to provide housing financial analytical and advisory services <br /> (RFQ). Specifically, KMA is proposing to provide financial assistance with multifamily <br /> and single-family housing projects and programs; bond issuance advisory services; and <br /> financial evaluations of projects being undertaken under the auspices of the City's <br /> Housing Opportunities Ordinance. <br /> KMA is a full-service real estate, financial, and economic consulting firm with a <br /> specialization in affordable housing services. KMA brings in-depth expertise in a variety <br /> of financing techniques such as tax-exempt multifamily bonds, Low income Housing Tax <br /> Credits, New Market Tax Credits United States Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development (HUD) assistance sources, financing programs offered by the California <br /> Housing and Community Development Department (HCD), the Federal Home Loan <br /> Bank Affordable Housing Program funds (AHP), and the revenue sources that are <br /> available to the housing successors to former redevelopment agencies. <br /> KMA understands that the City wishes to enter into a two-year contract with the selected <br /> firm, with the possibility for three (3) one-year options. If KMA is selected, we will obtain <br /> a City of Santa Ana business license and provide the insurance certification required by <br /> the RFQ.
