INSURANGE0 r Lt <br />WORK PRAY VOCEECI <br />UNTIL INSUF4ANCE E�(PIRt_ i <br />�"'� CLERK QE COl1NCll. <br />n DATE 3 <br />�v <br />M <br />A -2013- 173 -01 <br />AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SANTA AND ORANGE COUNTY <br />FIRE AUTHORITY FOR USE OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO ORANGE COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY CDBG <br />AGREEMENT made and entered into this 23 day of December, 2014, by and between <br />the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the Constitution and laws of the State of California ( "City") and the Orange County <br />Fire Authority, a Joint Powers Authority organized pursuant to California Government <br />Code Section 6500 et seq., ( "Subrecipient "). <br />IR110II10fl3 <br />A. The parties entered into flint certain Agreement A- 2013 -173, dated November 18, <br />2013 (hereinafter "said Agreement ") by which City agreed to expend Community <br />Development Block Grant ( "CDBG ") funding in order to pay for work and capital <br />improvements as defined in the scope of work attached to said Agreement. <br />B. The parties desire to amend the term of the Agreement to provide for an additional six <br />(6) month period in which the work and capital improvements may be completed. <br />WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and <br />subject to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this <br />Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. Page 2, Section "B" of the Agreement, entitled AMOUNT OF GRANT AND <br />GRANT DISBURSEMENT, shall be amended and updated to include the following: <br />"The amount granted to SUBRECIPIENT hereunder is Eight Hundred Ninety <br />Thousand Dollars ($890,000) ( "CDBG FUNDS "), and such funds shall be expended <br />by SUBRECIPIENT on or before June 30, 2015." <br />2. Page 3, Section ".D" of the Agreement, entitled ALLOWABLE COSTS, shall be <br />amended and updated to include the following: <br />" SUBRECIPIENT agrees to complete said Project on or before June 30, 2015 and to <br />use said funds to pay for necessary and reasonable costs allowable under the federal <br />law and regulations to perform said Project." <br />3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />
