DESCRIPTION <br />This trunking feature allows an equipped console <br />operator position to transmit an announcement to <br />several different talkgroups simultaneously. As <br />with Talkgroup Calls, multigroup calls operate <br />across sites as well as within the same site. <br />SETUP <br />RADIO -1 - TALKGROUP 1 <br />RADIO -2 - TALKGROUP 2 <br />RADI0-3 - RANDOM <br />CONSOLE -1 - ATG 1 <br />Note; TALKGROUP 1 and TALKGROUP 2 are <br />members of ATG 1. Using CONSOLE -1, select the ATG 1 <br />resource. <br />Step 2 Initiate the Multigroup Call from <br />CONSOLE -1. <br />Step 3. Observe that RADIO -1 and RADIO -2 <br />receive the Multigroup Call. <br />Step 4. Verify that RADIO -3 does not receive <br />the Multigroup Call because it is not a <br />member of ATG 1. <br />Step 5. Answer the Multigroup Call using <br />RADIO -1 and observe CONSOLE -1 <br />receives the response. <br />Step 6. Verify that if the call Is answered within <br />the repeater hang time, the console will <br />receive the call on the ATG 1 resource <br />tile, otherwise the console will receive <br />the call on the TALKGROUP 1 tile. <br />Step 7.
