The Planning Commission made no changes to the <br />recommendation outlined In the attached staff report (Exhibit A). <br />DISCUSSION <br />The applicant Is proposing to occupy a 24,630-square foot building with Rockin' Jump, an Indoor <br />trampoline recreation and aerobic exercise establishment. Several improvements are proposed <br />to be made to accommodate the proposed use. With the exception of a new exit door proposed <br />on the east (freeway- facing) elevation and signage, all Improvements will take place within the <br />building. These interior tenant improvements include the construction of dodge ball courts, an <br />open jump arena, basketball courts, a vertical tower, jousting area, cage bail, as well as a cafd, <br />special events rooms, seating, and a reception area. Full sized plans are available for public <br />viewing in the Clerk of the Council Office. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN ALIGNMENT <br />Approval of this item supports the City's efforts to meet Goal No. 3 Economic Development, <br />Objective No. 2 (create new opportunities for business /job growth and encourage private <br />development through new General Plan and Zoning Ordinance policies) and Objective No. 5 <br />(leverage private investment that results In tax base expansion and job creation citywide). <br />31 C -1 <br />
