The City <br />reserves the right to award the Base Bid, and any, all, or none of the add -alternate bid items (if <br />any). <br />The quantity for this bid item is shown for bid comparison only. This bid item shall not be <br />subject to the "25%" limit as stated in Section 3-2 of the Standard Specifications. The <br />actual amount for this item will be dictated by the actual quantity used, and the Agency <br />reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of this item accordingly. <br />TIME FOR COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS AND LIQUIDATED DAMAGES <br />The undersigned bidder hereby proposes to complete the Work for the total base bid amount <br />shown above within seventy 70 working days after the commencement date stated in the <br />Notice to Proceed. Furthermore, Project 15-6452 Water Main improvements shall be <br />completed within the first 30 working days and Project 15-6836 may start at the same time as <br />water main improvement, except on Wilshire Avenue and Borchard Avenue. The bidder also <br />proposes to commence construction of the Work within ten (10) days after issuance of a Notice <br />to Proceed, and to continue in a diligent and workman -like manner without interruption, and to <br />complete the construction thereof within the time specified above. <br />The liquidated damages amount in lieu of the amount specified in Subsection 6-9 of the <br />Standard Specifications shall be $4,400 per calendar day if not completed within the first 30 <br />working days for Project 15-64-52 and $4,400 per calendar day if not completed within 70 <br />working days for Project 15-6836. <br />P", INCABA <br />Name of Firm Exce, piilyi; ) (o NMAW <br />Signature of BIDDER <br />Title i?.
