As of March 2015, the <br />County's median income was $85,900. <br />Approximately 80% of families on the program earn <br />less than 30% of the median income, which is <br />$28,100 per year for a family of four. <br />Participants' incomes come from a variety of sources, as <br />illustrated in Chart 6. <br />Nearly half (44%) of participating families have 80�4 <br />employment income. 70% <br />60% <br />Participating families pay a portion of their monthly rent 50% <br />based upon their income and the payment standard for 40% <br />their unit.
