Huizar <br />In April 2014, the Santa Ana Youth Council forwarded a recommendation to the Workforce <br />Investment Board to fund the Santa Ana Public Library for the amount of $190,000 to serve <br />thirty youth for Program Year 2014 -2015. <br />In June 2014, the Santa Ana Workforce Investment Board approved the recommendation to fund <br />our organization's youth proposal. The Santa Ana City Council has approved the <br />recommendation. <br />This letter is to inform you that the Santa Ana Public Library intends to allocate $19,850 from <br />that grant to be paid to Santa Ana Community College. Those funds will provide reimbursement <br />to the College for instructors' salaries, curriculum development and higher education counseling <br />and supportive functions. <br />The course will period will begin in the week of February 9th 2015 and terminate June 30, 2015. <br />It is imperative per the grant requirements that we begin the classes in the beginning week of <br />Spring semester starting February 9th , in order to have the student participants complete their <br />training by the termination of the grant period of June 30th 2015.
